<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a reformed polymer electrolyte film with low water absorption rate. <P>SOLUTION: [1] The reformed polymer electrolyte film is manufactured by making a polymer electrolyte film contact with fluid under pressure. [2] The polymer electrolyte film is reformed by making a polymer electrolyte film contact with fluid under pressure. [3] For the method stated in [1] or [2], the fluid is in liquid or supercritical state. [4] For the method stated in [1] or [2], the fluid is chosen from a group of alcohol, hydrocarbon, chlorofluorocarbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, or inert gas. [5] For the method stated in either of [1] through [4], the pressure is not less than 0.5 MPa. [6] For the method stated in either of [1] through [5], the contact temperature T(°C) fulfills the relation; 0<T<Tm-5(°C), wherein, Tm(°C) is melting point of the polymer electrolyte film. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
