PURPOSE: A method for managing CPI(Copy Protection Information) of a high-density optical disk is provided to alternately and repeatedly record a section where wobble pits are not recorded and a section where the wobble pits are recorded, when recording wobble pit-type CPI, to simultaneously maintain/obtain security and reliability, thereby preventing encoded data from being copied without permission. CONSTITUTION: When recording wobble pit-type CPI in a specific area of a high-density optical disk, a section where wobble pits are not recorded and a section where the wobble pits are recorded are alternately repeated/recorded. The high-density optical disk is a BD(Blu-ray Disc)-ROM, and the specific area is a PIC(Permanent Information and Control Data) area. The section where the wobble pits are not recorded is recorded longer than the section where the wobble pits are recorded. In the section where the wobble pits are not recorded, serial pit-type disk information is included.
