A calling method using interworking between a client and a PBX(Private Branch Exchange) and a system thereof are provided to monitor a client state of the other party, so that the PBX can immediately call a call service register as soon as the client state is changed, and to send a message indicative of the originated call to the other party, thus an unnecessary load of the PBX is reduced. When a user registers a calling service in a PBX(S501), plural clients monitor whether each piece of state information is changed(S502). If so, a state information server receives the changed state information to store the received information, and sends the stored information to the PBX(S503). The PBX calls a terminal of the user who registers the calling service to a client whose state is changed(S504). The PBX transmits a message indicative of the originated call of the user to the other party(S505). The call is initiated between the user and the other party(S506).
