In one system for providing a 3D image, the system comprises a camera array (414) for generating at least one image of a multi- dimensional scene (412), the camera array (414) comprising a master camera and at least one slave camera; a monitor (416) coupled to the camera array (414) for transmitting the generated image; and a physical lens array (418) having a rectangular configuration related to the display of the monitor (416) to transmit the rendered camera views and provide the 3D image (420).
