Exemplary loading tools configured to facilitate loading of a pre-curved electrode array (108) onto a stylet (141) include a docking assembly (171, 211, 231), a channel assembly (172, 212, 232), and a connecting member (173, 213, 233) configured to connect the channel assembly (172, 212, 232) to the docking assembly (171, 211, 231) and maintain a distance therebetween. The docking assembly (171, 211, 231) is configured to couple to the stylet (141). The channel assembly (172, 212, 232) includes a channel (175, 235) configured to receive and allow passage therethrough of the pre-curved electrode array (108). The channel (175, 235) is aligned with the docking assembly (171, 211, 231) such that when the stylet (141) is coupled to the docking assembly (171, 211, 231), the stylet (141) is located at least partially within the channel (175, 235).
