PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a moire fringe due to interference from being generated at an overlapping portion of a transfer layer, when forming a metallic transfer layer by transfer printing on the surface of a cylindrical member, and thereby to prevent the seam of the transfer layer from being visible in appearance.SOLUTION: Color layers 33, 34 and a silver layer 35 as an underlayer are provided by screen printing, as a transfer layer 30 transferred as a decoration layer 15 on the surface of a cylindrical member 10 for the applicator by a transfer film 20. Both of the silver layer 35 and color layers 33, 34, in an area where a terminal portion 39 overlaps with a leading edge portion 38, respectively, are formed as gradation in which density is gradually reduced in the circumferential direction toward a terminal direction in the terminal portion 39, and formed as gradation in which the density is gradually reduced toward the leading edge direction in the leading edge portion 38. Also, the silver layer 35 is formed by the FM screen printing. |
