<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent paper from being uselessly outputted without surely having a jamming of the paper even when sheets of paper are sent even in an overlapped state. <P>SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus is provided with a means for forming a latent image on a drum, a transfer means, an overlapped sending detection means for judging the overlapped state of sheets of paper, and a means for moving an image transfer position to the uppermost sheet of paper set on the transfer surface of transfer materials sent in the overlapped state at the time of forming the latent image when an overlapped sending of paper is judged. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
