To reduce head change interference in video recorders with FM audio recording, a circuit arrangement is proposed which contains a head switch (5) with subsequent FM demodulator (6) supplying a pulse-duration-modulated output signal and subsequent low-pass filter (9). Between this low-pass filter (9) and the FM demodulator (7), a change-over switch (8) is arranged which applies the output of this low-pass filter (9) to the input of the low-pass filter with the aid of a sequence control device (10) as long as head change interference is present at the FM demodulator output. <IMAGE>
