The device has a planned inverted folded antenna (PIFA) (3) with a resonance device having surfaces (4, 7, 10). A cylindrical battery (5) has an envelope with a portion that is used as ground plane for the resonance of the antenna and that extends over three dimensions. The surfaces can coarsely follow the shape of the portion. The antenna enters into resonance through the surface (7) that extends along the envelope beyond two ends. An independent claim is also included for a meter comprising a communication device. |
