When sorting out single folded boxes which are supplied in stacks each top box (2) is moved away and the other boxes are supplied to the stack from the bottom either in a continuous or intermittent manner. The transport systems (4) for removing each top box are mounted on the top side of the stack (3) while the conveyor (5) for suppplying the boxes is provided on the underneath of the stack, preferably in the form of a conveyor belt (6). The stack is arranged vertically. USE/ADVANTAGE - Conveying system for handling folded boxes. Increased operating speeds are possible and the box to be removed is no longer under the weight of the remaining stack.
