The present invention relates to novel piperidine-triazine compounds of the general formula (I) <CHEM> in which R1 is e.g. hydrogen or methyl, A is e.g. -O-, m is e.g. 3, R2 is e.g. a group -OR4 or <CHEM> R4 is e.g. C1-C4alkyl, 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl or 1,2,2,6,6-pentamethyl-4-piperidyl, R5 and R6 which can be identical or different are e.g. C1-C8alkyl, cyclohexyl, tetrahydrofurfuryl, <CHEM> 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl or 1,2,2,6,6-pentamethyl-4-piperidyl, or R5 can also be hydrogen, or <CHEM> is e.g. 4-morpholinyl, n is 1, 2, 3 or 4 and, if n is 1, R3 is e.g. as defined above for R2 and, if n is 2, R3 is e.g. a group -E1-R8-E2- in which E1 and E2 which can be identical or different are e.g. >N-R12, R8 is e.g. C2-C6alkylene, C8-C10alkylene interrupted by 2 or 3 oxygen atoms or methylenedicyclohexylene and R12 is e.g. hydrogen, methyl, 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl or 1,2,2,6,6-pentamethyl-4-piperidyl, and, if n is 3, R3 is e.g. a group <CHEM> in which R12 is e.g. as defined above and R13 and R14 which can be identical or different are e.g. C2-C3alkylene, and, if n is 4, R3 is e.g. <CHEM> in which R12 is e.g. as defined above and R20 and R21 which can be identical or different are e.g. C2-C3alkykene. These compounds are effective as light stabilizers, heat stabilizers and oxidation stabilizers for organic materials.
