MOLECULE SPECIFIC TO HUMAN PIGMENT CELL

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new protein specific to human pigment cells useful for diagnosis of malignant melanoma and immunotherapy and a DNA encoding the protein specific to human pigment cells and to provide a method for utilizing these substances.

SOLUTION: An expression profile of cDNA of the malignant melanoma and the pigment cell is analyzed by an SAGE method and a different analyzing method of a human gene database and the other tissue is compared as a control and a new molecule selectively expressed to the malignant melanoma or the pigment cell is identified by maximally utilizing the gene database.
