PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To firmly combine an electrolyte and a conductive material and to avoide the stripping of the electrolyte from the electrode material and a conductive material by arranging the conductive material in a hydrostatic press die, injecting the powdery electrolyte into the die, forming the materials, then applying and baking the electrode material to be in contact with the conductive material partly exposed from the electrolyte. SOLUTION: A coiled conductive material 12 is arranged in a hydrostatic press die, a powdery electrolyte 11 is injected, then the materials are formed by a hydrostatic press, and a compact with a part of the conductive material 12 exposed on the surface of the electrolyte 11 is obtained. An electrode martial 13 is applied on the surface layer of the compact and baked to obtain a cell. A reticular conductive material can be used instead of the coiled conductive material 12. This cell structure can be applied to a cylindrical cell and also to a plate cell, and extrusion molding is used in the forming in place of the hydrostatic press forming. |
