PURPOSE: A method for rounding an angular member is provided to increase safety and efficiency by rounding the angular member in an upper direction from the end without turning over the member. CONSTITUTION: In a rounding machine, a heatproof plate is replaced with one having a high heatproof property and a low heat conductivity. After the replacement, a step between two angular members is measured. When the measured step is less than 3.5mm, a welding is conducted and when more than 3.5mm, the length of a cut portion is outputted by a certain formula. Then, the thicker member is loaded on the rounding machine to face the cut portion upward. A torch(7) faces upward to cut the portion by a holder. After the cutting process, the members are finally trimmed by a jig.
