PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain good recording quality without being affected by the number of recording times to a single optical disk and a change in an environmental temperature.

SOLUTION: In normal recording to the optical disk 2, the optimum recording power Pw opt meeting the measuring temperature is set as target recording power Pw by referencing the optimum recording power Pw opt stored in memory means 10 and the temperature made correspondent to the optimum recording power Pw opt and the normal recording is performed with such target recording power Pw. As a result, the increase in the number of trial writing times by the trial writing at every normal recording is suppressed and the setting of the target recording power Pw meeting the environmental temperature is made possible.
