DRY TYPE TRANSFER PAPER FOR INKJET TEXTILE PRINTING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide transfer paper homogeneously transcribed in the longitudinal direction in case when transcribed on a polyester fiber fabric by continuous lengthy printing by applying a sublimating dye-printing layer on the transfer paper and heat transcribing it to the polyester fiber fabric.

SOLUTION: The dry type transfer paper is applied with an acceptor layer for a sublimating dye-containing ink on one side of the paper. The paper has 50-150 μm thickness, ≥25 cm width and ≥1 m length and has ≤2% standard deviation of SDR. The SDR denotes a residual ratio of the dye on a printed surface when the paper is printed with the sublimating dye-containing ink having 180-280°C sublimating point and heat transcribed to the polyester fiber fabric by contacting the printed surface to the polyester fabric at 190°C for 30 seconds.
