<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve the control resolution of reaction gas fed to a fuel cell in a low flow area. <P>SOLUTION: A flow passage system for feeding and discharging the reaction gas against the fuel cell is switched between a first state where the reaction gas is fed from a reaction gas inlet to the fuel cell and the gas after reaction is discharged from a reaction gas outlet and a second state where the reaction gas is fed from both the reaction gas inlet and reacting gas outlets of the fuel cell to an electrode surface. In the first state where the flow passage system is in a normal operating state, a three-way valve 5 allows the anode gas outlet 4b to communicate with a circulating flow passage 8 to stop a stop valve 12. In the second state where the flow passage system is in rather a low load operating condition, three-way valves 5 and 6 allow the anode gas outlet 4b to communicate with a bypass flow passage (10) to open the stop valve 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
