The engine section of the low floor vehicle consists of the powered car truck 2, car body 1 and traction drive, composed of traction motors 14, rigidly coupled with cylindrical gearboxes 15, and cardan shafts 16. The invention purpose is to optimise the vehicle propulsive performance and to reduce the wheels 3 and railway track wear. The purpose is obtained by the motors 14 fixing on the car body 1, mounted by means of the carriage springs 11 on the truck axle boxes 5, at that the each wheel set axle boxes 5 are coupled rigidly, forming bearing groups, connected with the inner frame 8 by means of springing medium 7. The invention is illustrated by fig. 2 where the car truck unit is shown having the common axle of coupled wheel sets.
