<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake evaluation system, an earthquake damage evaluation method, an earthquake damage evaluation program and a storage medium recording the earthquake damage evaluation program, which enables a precise earthquake damage evaluation. <P>SOLUTION: The time history of seismic ground motion of the surface of a seismic bedrock in an optional point caused by a fault rupture of a source region which causes seismic motion in an optional point is generated, and the time history of seismic ground motion of the ground surface in the optional point is generated from the generated time history of seismic motion of the surface of the seismic bedrock. The seismic response of a structure in the optional point is analyzed based on the time history of seismic motion of the ground surface in the optional point, the amount of damage of either one or both of the structure and the contents in the structure is calculated based on the analysis result of the seismic response, and an expected damage is calculated based on the amount of damage and an earthquake occurrence ratio. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
