LONG TERM EVOLUTION BASED LOCATION BASED SERVICE SYSTEM

The present invention relates to the long term evolution (LTE) based location based service (LBS) provision system which raises correctness of positioning, and provides a positioning service on the basis of LTE at the same time. The system comprises: a terminal performing location registration at the time of moving; a base station providing an LTE service signal to the terminal; a relay relaying an LTE-uplink (UL) signal and an LET-downlink (DL) signal between a terminal placed in a specific area and the base station; a location detection (LD) server storing and managing location information including an installation position of the base station and the relay; and an LD generating device. When the terminal performs the location registration by interlocking with the relay, the LD generating device receives the location information of the relay for relaying communication between the terminal and the base station from the LD server to generate an LD signal including the location information of the relay and combine the LD signal with the LTE-DL signal. The relay transmits the LTE-LD signal combined by the LD generating device to the terminal, so the location of the terminal is registered.
