PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a satellite tracking antenna system and satellite tracking antenna control method that estimate disturbance torque in real time to enable accurate satellite tracking control.SOLUTION: A satellite tracking antenna system comprises: a gimbal platform constituted by a plurality of gimbal axes installed on a ship; and a satellite tracking antenna mounted on the gimbal platform. The satellite tracking antenna system comprises: observation means installed on the ship to observe acceleration in a predetermined gimbal axis and detect a specific frequency of the ship's rolling and pitching from spectrum analysis on the acceleration; disturbance torque estimation means for estimating, by using the specific frequency of the ship's rolling and pitching, disturbance torque that acts on the predetermined gimbal axis; and control means for controlling each gimbal axis by making a compensation torque having a phase reverse to the disturbance torque estimated by the disturbance torque estimation means be generated to cancel disturbance torque generated by rolling and pitching.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
