摘要 Systems and methods for providing deeper knee flexion capabilities. In some instances, such systems and methods include a femoral component that is configured to replace a distal portion of a femur. In some cases, the femoral component comprises a first interior surface and a second interior surface that are each configured to contact a resected portion of the femur. Additionally, in some case, the first interior surface and the second interior surface are within about 20 degrees of being parallel with each other. Moreover, in some cases, the femoral component is configured such that when the femoral component is seated on the distal portion of the femur, the first interior surface runs at an angle between about 30 degrees and about 55 degrees with respect to a longitudinal axis of the femur. Other implementations are also discussed.
