PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate, in performing a bending test of a test piece by using a contact type displacement meter, an influence of contact force at the time when the displacement meter comes into contact with the test piece.SOLUTION: A deflection of a test piece 10 placed on fulcrums 22 at the time when the test piece 10 is pressurized by using a punch 21 is measured by a displacement meter 40. When a crosshead is moved from a standby position to a testing position to make the punch 21 approach from the position indicated with an imaginary line to the position indicated with a solid line, the iron punch 21 and a probe 41 with a tip end 47 made of a magnet attract each other by magnetic force, so that the probe 41 moves from a position indicated with an imaginary line to a position indicated with a solid line. Thus, the probe 41 comes into contact with a rear surface of the test piece 10 at a touched position by the punch 21. A contact force then is a constant value during a bending test, so as to be easily subtracted. |
