PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carbonization device for solid fuel capable of burning carbide more effectively and recovering it.SOLUTION: A carbonization device burns combustible material of granular, powdery and short fiber-like solid that can be flowed and transferred to burn carbide. This device comprises a body 10 having its upper side part 11 formed into a cylindrical shape and its lower side part 12 formed into a hopper shape, a burning pot 20 coaxially positioned inside the body 10 and having its outer shape formed into a pot shape of an inverse circular truncated cone, an air discharge outlet 22 provided on the inner peripheral surface of the burning pot 20 for supplying combustion air, a discharging screw conveyor 41 provided extending laterally from the lowest part 12b of a lower side 12 of the body 10, a discharging pipe passage 44 provided extending from a carbide discharge port 44a of the discharging screw conveyor 41 and a rotary valve 75 for discharging carbide while shielding aeration with the discharging pipe passage 44. |
