<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a contents charging system which automatically decentralizes distribution sites for contents and unitedly manages charging information to user terminals. <P>SOLUTION: The system comprises a contents registration part 12 which registers guide information on contents from a contents server, an output part 14 which automatically transmits the guide information of the contents to a plurality of electronic commerce servers on a network 1, a catalog generating means 16 which allows a catalog of contents to be viewed on the network 1, a member information registration part 34 which registers the distribution amount of contents and member information from the electronic commerce servers through a catalog site, a charge storage means 18 which receives charge information based upon the distribution state of contents to a user terminal from an electronic commerce server through the network 1 and stores a cumulatively computed charge amount, and a printing means 20 which totals charge amounts and distribution amounts and prints out a payment amount report to the contents server. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
