PURPOSE:To simplify construction by entering a piston valve of a carburetor of a secondary air intake passage of an engine providing two air intake passages in one combustion chamber into an inner peripheral face of a venturi passage by a fixed length at the time of full closing and driving two piston valves with a common shaft. CONSTITUTION:Two air intake passages are provided in one combustion chamber, and carburetors are provided in respective air intake passages. A piston valve 24 of a carburetor 16 of a secondary air intake passage 14 is entered into an inner peripheral face of a venturi passage 23 by a fixed length L. And the piston valves 18, 24 of the primary and secondary carburetors 15, 16 are connected to a common throttle shaft 30 rotated interlockingly with throttle operation, via a link mechanism 37 converting rotary motion of the throttle shaft 30 into linear motion. Thus, complicated link mechanism is eliminated and interlocking construction of the carburetors can be simplified. |
