PURPOSE:To obtain the subject composition absolutely harmless to the tooth, having excellent safety, easily dispensable at a desired quantity and extremely easily miscible and kneadable by compounding a base agent and a curing agent of a non-eugenol material in the form of putty. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition is composed of (A) a putty base agent composition produced by compounding (A1) a base agent composition containing a mixture of a water-insoluble liquid acidic phosphoric acid ester and/or a water-insoluble organic carboxylic acid which is liquid at room temperature with (A2) 5.0-50.0wt.% of silica fine powder having an average particle diameter of 2-2,000mum and (B) a putty curing agent composition produced by compounding (B1) a curing agent composition containing a reactive polyvalent metal salt (e.g., alkaline-earth metal salt) with (B2) 1.0-20.0wt.% of fine powder of an inorganic filler having a solubility of <=0.2 at 20 deg.C (e.g., silica or aluminum oxide) and, as necessary, (B3) 1.0-10.0wt.% of a non-functional group-type liquid organic polymer having a solubility of <=0.2 at 20 deg.C (e.g., polybutene or liquid polybutadiene having an average molecular weight of 600-60,000). |
