PURPOSE:To provide a thermal recording material for forming recording image excellent in preservation stability, reduced in background fog and also excellent in color forming properties. CONSTITUTION:In a thermal recording material wherein a recording layer containing a colorless or light-colored basic dye and a developer is provided on a support, a compd. having two or more ethyleneimino groups is added to the recording layer as a preservability enhancer and a salt of a terpolymer of isobutylene, styrene and maleic anhydride is added to the recording layer as a binder. |
