PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator with improved upward conveyance efficiency of objects to be conveyed by improving carrying amount of the objects to be conveyed carried in conveyance bodies. SOLUTION: A first inclined part 23 directing objects to be conveyed toward conveyance bodies 11 by collisions of hurled objects to be conveyed is provided on a lower inner surface of a machine casing 7 on a side where the conveyance bodies 11 travels and carries the objects to be conveyed and at a position where a part of the objects to be conveyed hurled by the conveyance bodies 11 collides, and a second inclined part 23 directing the objects to be conveyed toward the conveyance bodies 11 by collisions of objects to be conveyed falling from the conveyance bodies 11 traveling and carrying the objects to be conveyed is provided on the inner surface of the machine casing 7 above the first inclined part 23.
