The piston cylinder unit has a slide path (20) for converting translation movement of piston into rotary movement of rotary part (14). The rotary part is arranged and designed so that the machine elements (18) of the piston engage directly into the rotary part. The piston of each unit can be formed as a single or double piston which can be biased with force on both sides.
