PURPOSE: An apparatus and method is provided to easily and periodically calibrate zero point of differential pressure sensor. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus comprises a first standard differential pressure sensor(203) having first and second pneumatic pipes; an object differential pressure sensor(201) having third and fourth pneumatic pipes; a first gas feed pipe(207) for feeding gas to first and third pneumatic pipes; a second gas feed pipe(209) for feeding gas to second and fourth pneumatic pipes; a first flow rate controller(211) and a second flow rate controller(213) installed at front portions of first and second gas feed pipes, respectively; a control unit(215) for controlling first and second flow rate controllers; a second standard differential pressure sensor(205) having fifth and sixth pneumatic pipes; and a monitor(217) for displaying detection result of the first standard differential pressure sensor.
