<p>Disclosed herein is a process for recovery of pyridine and/or its derivatives from their aqueous mass and/ or manufacturing reaction mass by liquid-liquid extraction employing an environmentally non-hazardous organic solvent. The process further comprising effective recovering and recycle of solvents from the aqueous phase and the other waste obtained during the process.</p>
