An air conditioner for a vehicle is disclosed. The air conditioner for a vehicle can be firmly fixated to an evaporator without the use of a plastic holder and easily separated to be maintained and repaired. Moreover, the air conditioner for a vehicle has a thermistor fixing device which rapidly detects a change in the temperature by detecting the temperature using a thermal conduction method. The air conditioner for a vehicle comprises: an air conditioning case having the evaporator therein; and the thermistor installed inside the air conditioning case to detect the temperature of the evaporator. The air conditioner comprises: a clip inserted and fixated to the evaporator; a magnet unit provided for one among the clip and a temperature detection unit of the thermistor; and a metal unit provided for the other one among the clip and the temperature detection unit of the thermistor to be attached to and detached from the magnet unit.
