A duplex reciprocating pump equipped with: case members forming a pair of spaces; movable partition members partitioning these spaces into a first and a second pump chamber and a first and a second operation chamber; a first switch valve mechanism equipped with a first valve mechanism for switching the supply of an operating fluid to the first operation chamber; a second switch valve mechanism equipped with a second valve mechanism for switching the supply of the operating fluid to the second operation chamber; a first switching mechanism for switching the supply of a control fluid to the first switch valve mechanism; and a second switching mechanism for switching the supply of the control fluid to the second switch valve mechanism. The first and second switching mechanisms switch the supply of the control fluid to the first and second switch valve mechanisms so as to have an overlap period, in which the compression stroke of the first pump chamber and the compression stroke of the second pump chamber partially overlap. |
