<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve image formation which does not contaminate a magnetic brush without producing toner fine powder when an image formation body is electrostatically charged with the magnetic brush. <P>SOLUTION: An electrostatic charging means is the magnetic brush which is arranged in contact with the surface of a photoreceptor and formed of magnetic particles and constituent resin has a cell structure, and toner is used which is of 20 to 200 mm in mean value of the ferre horizontal diameter and of 10 to 35% in coefficient of variation in ferre horizontal diameter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
