摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve volumetric efficiency by uniformly setting lengths of suction pipes for supplying gas refrigerant from an accumulator to each compression mechanism unit, and adjusting resonance frequencies and operating frequencies of the respective suction pipes.SOLUTION: A multi-cylinder rotary compressor includes: a compressor main body 2 in which a rotational shaft 9, an electric motor unit 10, and a plurality of compression mechanism units 11 and 12 are accommodated in a closed case 8; an accumulator 3 arranged lateral to the compressor main body 2; and a plurality of suction pipes 24a and 24b provided to penetrate a bottom of the accumulator 3, each of the suction pipes 24a and 24b having one end opening upward in the accumulator 3 and the other end connected to the compression mechanism unit 11 or 12 on one-to-one correspondence basis. Positions of the suction pipes 24a and 24b at which the suction pipes 24a and 24b penetrate the bottom of the accumulator 3 are such that the suction pipe 24b connected to the compression mechanism unit 12 located on a lower side is closer to the rotational shaft 9 than the suction pipe 24a connected to the compression mechanism unit 11 located on an upper side.
