<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing means which, in image printing, is capable of confirming preview/image resolution (dpi) of a printed result on a screen in real time, of printing without failures, and of obtaining a plurarity of printing results in block without being restricted in the direction of paper feeding. <P>SOLUTION: A trimming frame 1 interlocking with a printable area of a print sheet is displayed, and a print area is decided according to the frame's movement/size adjustment. In doing this, a preview image, a image resolution, and shortage in the resolution based on the trimming frame 1 are appropriately displayed and it is precisely and easily grasped whether the print results become as intended. Also, a printing direction is changed without changing the direction of paper feeding in printing equipment by reversing an aspect ratio of the printable area in software. Moreover, by forming data of the trimming frame 1 in a list form, it is possible to obtain in block as many a print result according to purpose as one needs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
