<p>A device for installing a new type portable terminal laterally on a dashboard and using its monitor as the monitor of a new type car navigator in which the leg part (2) of an installation base (1) is fitted efficiently to the curved face of various dashboards such that the new type portable terminal can be installed surely by one touch and can be charged simultaneously thus enlarging the small monitor as large as the monitor of the car navigator. The installing device comprises the installation base (1) having the leg part (2) which can select a plurality of curved face patterns, an insertion plug (4) leading to the power supply in a car disposed on the bottom face thereof, a falling preventer mounted on the side face of the installation base (1), and a removable plastic film magnifier (11) integrated with a baseboard (12) inserted into the gap (3) between two layers on the bottom face and held at a right angle. A conventional portable telephone/PDA can be used as a car navigator and can be used conveniently and selectively on the inside and outside of a car.</p> |
