The suspension comprises two longitudinal arms articulated on the bodywork. The arms are connected by an anti-roll bar (10) which comprises a fold (14) to decrease the bending inertia of the bar whilst retaining the torsion inertia. The anti-roll bar comprises a tube (11) and the fold comprises a flange (12) and a side (13) connecting the flange to the tube.
