By attaching a socket to an end of one pipe to be connected, attaching a plug to an end of other pipe and inserting the plug into the socket, the both members are constituted to fit to connect. An inner periphery of the socket is provided with a seal ring 50 for sealing an interval between the inner periphery of the socket and an outer periphery of the plug in airtight and a hold ring 49 for restricting movement of the seal ring 50 in an axial direction. The hold ring 49 includes a groove 81 in a ring-like shape for constituting a burr storing space at an outer periphery thereof and is welded to the inner periphery of the socket by ultrasonic welding. |
