A numerical simulation device is provided for making it possible to execute a high speed and high accurate numerical simulation with a reduced calculation amount. A numerical simulation device (100), which executes a numerical simulation using a wave function that is a solution of the time dependent Schrodinger equation, is provided with a real time developing arithmetic operation unit (106) for carrying out an arithmetic operation of a wave function of the second kind while developing the wave function for a predetermined period of time from the initial time, wherein the wave function of the second kind is obtained by applying a central difference approximation in the real space difference method for a wave function of the first kind expressed by means of a propagator and is expressed by means of Bessel function, and an arithmetic operation result memory unit (108) for storing the arithmetic operation result of the wave function of the second kind at each time obtained while developing in the real time developing arithmetic operation unit (106) for each predetermined period of time.
