The present invention relates to a manufacturing method for a band saw using a diamond and a CBN abrasive grain and a bans saw manufactured thereby. According to an embodiment, provided are a manufacturing method for a band saw and a band saw manufactured thereby, wherein the manufacturing method comprises: a connection step of forming a loop by welding both end portions of a band-shaped base material; a polishing step of evenly polishing the surface of a joint which is welded in the loop; an edge processing step of polishing an edge of a front end portion of the loop to be a curved surface; a pre-treatment step of heat treating the loop; and an abrasive grain transplant step of fixing an abrasive grain to the loop. |
