PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake override system capable of preventing deceleration, which is not intended by a driver, from being performed when an accelerator pedal manipulation and brake pedal manipulation are performed concurrently, and keeping a driver from having a strange feeling.SOLUTION: A brake override system 1 includes an ECU 50 (engine output control part 51) that restricts an engine output when both an accelerator pedal and a brake pedal are depressed, and a driving assist system 60 that has an automatic braking function which recognizes an outside environment of a vehicle and automatically brakes the vehicle on the basis of a result of the recognition. When the automatic braking function of the driving assist system 60 is workable, even if both the accelerator pedal and the brake pedal are depressed, the engine output control part 51 which the ECU 50 functionally includes prohibits restriction (reduction) of the engine output.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
