The module is used for the translation movement of objects and can be applied in industrial automation with manipulators and robots. It has a simplified and compact structure since the bending moment and the reactive torque are supported directly by the body and there is no need of a supplementary structure to fix the module screw and body. The linear module consists of electric motor (1) with hollow rotor (2), where a ball circulating-nut couple (3) with a nut (4), fixed to the rotor (2) is positioned. In the nut, together with the balls (5) is mounted the screw (6), which besides the thread (7), has longitudinal grooves (8), in which on linear supports (10) are placed the balls (9). The supports (10) are mounted in longitudinal rectangular grooves (11) with external conical surface (12), made in shields (13) centred in the stator (14) of the electric motor. The linear bearing supports (10) are fixed in a longitudinal direction with adjustment screws (15), screwed to the shields (13). The rotor (2) is axially connected to the shields (13) by means of axial, self-aligning bearings with no gap (20). In the longitudinal grooves (8) of the screw (6)there are also placed slides (21) to protect the balls (5) from entering the grooves (8).
