METHOD OF SUPPRESSING PEAK OF MULTICARRIER TRANSMISSION SIGNAL, CIRCUIT FOR GENERATING MULTICARRIER TRANSMISSION SIGNAL HAVING PEAK SUPPRESSING FUNCTION, ADAPTIVE PEAK LIMITER, LSI FOR PROCESSING BASEBAND SIGNAL, AND WIRELESS TRANSMITTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously maintain superior power efficiency of a high frequency amplifier and quality of transmission signal in a wireless system of next-generation mobile communication that supports high-speed data packet transmission.

SOLUTION: A base band signal of each frequency channel that went through user multiplexing units 200a-200d is subjected to adaptive hard limit processing at an adaptive peak limiter 400, a multicarrier-composited signal is then subjected to peak limit processing at a multi-carrier signal generating circuit 500 having a peak suppressing function, nonlinear distortion of a high frequency amplifier 32 is corrected at a hybrid distortion compensation circuit 700, and a multicarrier signal is outputted from an antenna (ANT).
