METHOD FOR CHECKING DATA NAME

PURPOSE:To effciently and surely check whether an imparted data name conforms to a required data name imparting rule or not in the design work of a data base. CONSTITUTION:Terms constituting data names, the sorts of the terms and the arrangement rules of term sorts in the data names are registered in a dictionary 1. A term decomposing part 2 decomposes a data name imparted from the outside into terms by referring to the dictonary 1 and delivers the terms and their arrangement to a term sort judging part 3. The judging part 3 judges the sort of each term by referring to the dictionary 1 and delivers the judged result to a term position judging part 4. The judging part 4 similarly refers to the dictionary 1 and judges whether respective terms constituting the data name are correctly arranged in accordance with their sorts or not.
