<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and a method for specifying print conditions so that printing of a longitudinal document can be carried out appropriately regardless of the setting direction of a sheet or the mechanism of a printer. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for specifying print conditions of a print system including a printer 20 comprises a print condition specifying means 12 for rotating the drawing direction of the longitudinal document by 180°, and a means 36 for displaying the writing image rotated by 180° based on a designation of rotation from the print condition specifying means 12 along with the finished image thereof. While confirming the finished image being displayed by the display means 36, length and width of a document, perfecting, 180° rotation in the drawing direction of a lateral document, 180° rotation in the drawing direction of the longitudinal document, and setting direction of a sheet to a sheet feed tray are specified. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
