An image processing arrangement comprises a video multiplexer means 2 arranged to multiplex a plurality of video input signals from respective cameras, 1, 1A, 1B, 1C and to generate an output sync signal (HSYNC) for synchronising retrieval of the respective video input signals, and a computer (3) arranged to process groups of two or more corresponding frames (eg with a stereo processing algorithm) of the respective video input signals to produce a combined output signal (eg a 3D representation of the imaged object). The computer may also include software for generating images that would be acquired by a virtual camera at an intermediate viewpoint.
