PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a methylene urea which is rapidly and easily implemented and is high in the effect of reducing a cost. SOLUTION: The method for producing the methylene urea by using at least urea, a formaldehyde compound and an acid consists in introducing the urea and the formaldehyde compound into a first section of a multispindle screw extruder 70, mixing the urea and the formaldehyde compound in the first section of the multispindle screw extruder 70, subjecting the mixture to compressing, heating and melting to form a flowable mixture, adding the acid to the molten mixture in a second section of the multispindle screw extruder, further mixing the same to form an ingot of a methylene urea polymer by reaction of the mixture with the acid and extruding the ingot.
