<p>The present invention relates to an anti-freezing apparatus for a water meter and a water-service pipe, which is a fluid tube, comprising: a body wherein a heater pipe connected to the outlet of the water meter and a tube through which an electric heating wire is installed forming a T-shaped tube; a heater inserting the electric heating wire inside the heater pipe winding said electric heating wire around a round insulator so that the end portion of the electric heating wire may not be folded; and an enclosed portion sealing the inlet of the tube, through which the electric heating wire passes, firmly with a cork plug and a capnut. The water in the heater pipe is heated and maintained at a temperature between 10~20°C by the heater, and when water is used, ice crystal does not grow by the flow of the water, thus preventing the water meter from being frozen to burst. Even when the water is not used, the heated water inside the heater pipe maintains its latent heat preventing the water-service pipe and a water meter, which are fluid tubes, from being frozen.</p> |
